Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will oversee daily financial operations for Fabcouture.in, an online retailer of designer fabrics. Based in Hisar, you will ensure accurate recording of transactions, maintain ledgers and support the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post financial transactions, maintain general ledgers and reconcile bank and cash accounts.
• Prepare, review and process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities and generate financial reports.
• Support tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with management to monitor budgets, analyse costs and provide financial insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong bookkeeping, ledger management and transaction recording abilities.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and basic cost analysis.
• Understanding of taxation, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in retail, e‑commerce or textiles is a plus.
