Accountant – Immediate Joiners

About the role

We are a growth‑driven organisation in the sustainable technology and recycling sector, seeking an immediate‑join accountant to strengthen our finance team. The role demands precision, ownership, and uncompromising integrity in a compliance‑intensive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and close monthly books on strict timelines, ensuring zero‑mismatch ledgers and clean reconciliations.
• Handle full AP/AR cycles, bank, vendor, debtor, and statutory reconciliations without delay.
• Manage GST reconciliations and filings, ensure 100% TDS compliance, and prepare documentation for internal and statutory audits.
• Prepare monthly MIS with variance analysis, support P&L and balance sheet preparation, and provide data for management decisions.
• Lead statutory and internal audit preparation, maintain audit‑ready documentation, and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, fixed‑asset register, depreciation schedules, and capital‑expenditure tracking.

Required profile

• B.Com or M.Com (mandatory); CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred.
• 3–5 years of proven corporate accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or other compliance‑driven setups.
• Strong exposure to GST and TDS handling.
• Demonstrated ability to close books on time, maintain >99% reconciliation accuracy, and anticipate compliance deadlines.
• High ethical standards and an ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced working knowledge of Tally or other ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data reconciliation).
• In‑depth understanding of statutory compliance frameworks (GST, TDS).
• Familiarity with audit processes and internal controls.
