Accountant I – Accounts Payable

About the role

The Accounts Payable Accountant will manage key financial operations, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments and reconciliations. You will support the month‑end close and contribute to continuous improvement of AP processes within a global, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and create payment files for vendors and intercompany partners.
• Initiate and execute payments, performing regular bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile vendor statements and intercompany balances, resolving discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Prepare and distribute monthly AP reports.
• Support month‑end closing activities and ensure compliance with SOPs and accounting standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational corporation.
• Ability to work standard business hours with occasional travel for supplier or site visits.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
