Accountant – Financial Management & Reporting

About the role

Ricans Solar Energy Limited is seeking a full‑time Accountant to join its finance team in Gurugram. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and providing insights to support business decisions in a fast‑growing solar energy company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
• Record all financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Analyze financial data and deliver insights to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and internal policies.
• Support audits, tax filings and other financial compliance activities.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain liquidity.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks using Tally software.

Required profile

• Proficiency in financial management and accounting software.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
