Accountant – Finance & Reporting

About the role

Volvo Group is looking for a skilled Accountant to join its finance team and support sustainable transport solutions. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end accounting processes, month‑end close, and financial reporting while collaborating with internal partners and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post journal entries related to sales, general ledger, and finance processes.
• Execute period‑end close activities, reconcile balance‑sheet and income‑statement accounts.
• Prepare and review recurring reporting packages, financial statements, and assist with year‑end close.
• Maintain SAP FI/CO master data and support other ERP systems.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Monitor business transactions against Volvo Group financial policies.
• Provide daily support to clients and coordinate with profit‑center owners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2–4 years of experience in general accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong analytical abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑reliant, and able to work in shifts.
• Experience in a manufacturing or shared‑service environment is a plus.
