Accountant (E‑commerce)

About the role

Bylukz, a fast‑growing e‑commerce and quick‑commerce startup, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support its financial operations. You will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, ensure accurate transaction records, and assist with tax compliance as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting and bookkeeping, recording sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Perform bank and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Prepare GST records and support tax filing.
• Generate invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Coordinate with vendors and keep financial documentation up to date.
• Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
• Produce financial reports and MIS for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in e‑commerce or quick‑commerce.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and bank reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Zoho Books (strong advantage)
