Accountant – E‑commerce & Financial Management

About the role

Bombay Musk, a premium fragrance and lifestyle brand, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage its financial records, support e‑commerce accounting, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily financial records, including sales, expenses and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Handle e‑commerce accounting across marketplaces and the company website, reconciling payment gateways, settlements, refunds and chargebacks.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Assist with GST and TDS filings, maintain tax records and coordinate with auditors.
• Track company expenses, verify bills and support budgeting and cost monitoring.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Understanding of GST and TDS compliance.
