Accountant – Day-to-Day Financial Operations

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily financial operations and support accurate reporting across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers and vouchers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank, cash, card and digital payment transactions.
• Prepare vendor payment statements and track outstanding balances.
• Verify purchase bills, expenses and supporting documents.
• Maintain GST, TDS and other statutory records.
• Support monthly closing and financial reporting.
• Reconcile sales data with POS and billing records.
• Coordinate with vendors, management and external consultants.
• Maintain organised digital and physical financial records.
• Assist with payroll, incentives and employee‑related accounting.
• Monitor petty cash and departmental expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of prior accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants or hotels.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
