About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Berhampore. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the monthly closing process. This position offers the opportunity to work within a growing automobile business and collaborate with multiple internal departments.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records and process all financial transactions.
- Handle invoices, receipts, payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and assist with monthly financial closing.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, and vendors as required.
Required profile
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred).
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automobile industry.
- Strong communication and analytical abilities.
