Accountant – Accounts Payable

About the role

Vistance Networks is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance Shared Services team in Goa. The role focuses on managing the full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle, ensuring timely processing of invoices, expense claims, and related financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process third‑party invoices, inter‑entity accounting, and travel expenses using ICC, VIM, and SAP.
• Monitor workflow queues to meet defined processing timelines and raise issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and vendors to resolve AP queries and generate required reports.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports on invoice processing and vendor payment trends.
• Ensure statutory compliance and reconcile AP‑related general ledger accounts.
• Support internal and external audits of the AP function.

Required profile

• Preferably an Inter‑CA or M.Com qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of Indian GST/VAT, bank regulations, and indirect taxes (global tax experience a plus).
• Willingness to work in shifts based on process requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
