Academic Tutor (On-site)

About the role

The Academic Tutor will join Human Welfare and Cultural Society (HWCS) to provide high‑quality instruction and mentorship to students in Balaghat. Working on‑site, the tutor will support the NGO’s mission of fostering education, employment, and cultural enrichment within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Facilitate classroom activities that promote student participation and learning.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and NGO staff to enhance educational programs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (M.A.) or B.Ed. or a relevant academic qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in the areas to be taught.
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and community development.
