2D CAD & Tekla Designer – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

We are looking for a 2D CAD & Tekla Designer to create detailed 2‑D drawings and 3‑D structural models for renewable‑energy and substation projects. The role involves using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures to support fabrication and construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2‑D layout, section and detail drawings for substations and renewable‑energy installations.
• Develop and modify general arrangement, fabrication and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create and manage 3‑D structural models in Tekla Structures.
• Produce steel and RCC detailing for gantries, equipment foundations, control buildings, etc.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil and project teams, perform clash checks and incorporate client feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI/B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in EPC, power or renewable‑energy projects, preferably with substation or solar work.
• Immediate or early joiner preferred; exposure to BIM coordination tools is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2‑D drafting).
• Working knowledge of Tekla Structures (3‑D modeling & detailing).
• Familiarity with IS codes and international standards.
• Good coordination and communication abilities.
