About the role

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Mangalagiri is hiring 21 nursing and related staff positions across several categories. Candidates will join a premier government medical institution in Andhra Pradesh, providing direct patient care, support services, and administrative duties in a hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to in‑patients, including medication administration, wound management, and monitoring vital signs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in clinical documentation.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals.
• For senior nursing officer roles, oversee ward operations, manage staffing schedules, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• For the warden position, manage housekeeping, material management, and estate‑related activities.
• For the Medical Social Service Officer, assess patients’ social needs, provide counseling, and coordinate community resources.

Required profile

• B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc Nursing / Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery, registered with State or Indian Nursing Council.
• For senior nursing officer – at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• For warden – degree plus diploma/certificate in housekeeping, material management, public relations or estate management, with minimum 2 years experience.
• For Medical Social Service Officer – MA/MSW in Medical Social Work and at least 5 years experience in a 200‑bed hospital.
