Workload Automation Administrator / Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Workload Automation Administrator/Architect to join Bosch’s software technology team in Coimbatore. The role focuses on managing and evolving our automation platforms to ensure reliable and efficient batch processing across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure workload automation platforms such as UC4/Automic and Redwood RunMyJobs.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain automation system components.
• Monitor system performance, conduct tuning, and ensure high‑availability and disaster‑recovery setups.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and provide 24×7 on‑call support.
• Perform basic database administration (Oracle) and OS administration on Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Handle network fundamentals including TCP/IP, firewalls and connectivity troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and within global teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset under operational pressure.
• Experience in ITIL‑based operational environments.
