Workday Technology Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented HRIS Analyst with a specialized skillset in Workday to join our HRIS team. This onsite position in Bangalore supports the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the HR technology stack.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday HCM, ServiceNow, and SABA/Cornerstone.
• Serve as a Workday HCM subject‑matter expert, leading design, configuration, and testing of HCM processes.
• Collaborate with HR and HRIT to design, document, and execute HR processes across systems.
• Evaluate out‑of‑the‑box functionality against business requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
• Roll out new technology functionality and manage enhancements based on stakeholder requests.
• Maintain awareness of Workday roadmap and assess impact on current functionality.
• Lead testing activities including regression, unit, user‑acceptance, and pre‑launch sign‑off.
• Use project‑management skills to oversee HR system initiatives from design to implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in MIS, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Workday HCM functional expert.
• Strong consultative and relationship‑building skills with HR and cross‑functional partners.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proven ability to thrive in a high‑demand environment and manage ambiguous situations.
