Workato Architect / Senior Developer

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Workato Architect who can also deliver hands‑on development. The role involves designing, building, and supporting enterprise‑grade integration and automation solutions on the Workato platform for a variety of SaaS, cloud and on‑premise systems. The candidate will work remotely and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end integration architectures using Workato.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workato recipes, custom connectors, and workflows.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Define integration standards, best practices, governance, and security controls.
• Integrate SaaS, cloud, and on‑premise applications via APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
• Lead solution design workshops and architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimise performance.
• Mentor team members and establish reusable integration frameworks and accelerators.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures.
• Support production releases and ongoing enhancements.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of integration experience, including at least 3 years with Workato.
• Proven experience designing enterprise integration architectures.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience leading integration modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
• Must have the Workato environment set up on your laptop for the interview.
