WordPress & Next.js Developer (Full‑Time, On‑Site)

About the role

Kayana is looking for a skilled WordPress & Next.js Developer to create and maintain high‑quality websites and web applications for clients across payment solutions, BFSI, retail, and healthcare sectors. The role is full‑time, onsite in Mumbai, and involves both front‑end and back‑end development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build website front‑ends using WordPress, React, and Next.js.
• Create website architecture and application structures.
• Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and integrate APIs.
• Build and maintain modern web applications with Next.js and React.
• Integrate WordPress with headless CMS architectures and REST APIs.
• Implement AI‑enabled features such as chatbots, content generation, intelligent search, workflow automation, and personalization tools.
• Conduct performance testing, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Provide WordPress training to clients when required.
• Monitor and maintain live website performance.
• Collaborate with design, product, and development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, Front‑End Developer, or Full‑Stack Developer.
• Strong experience with custom WordPress themes, plugins, and API integrations.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies and modern web development practices.
