Windows Engineer – Enterprise Server & Virtualization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer to manage and support our enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, patching, virtualization, security, and high‑availability environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025.
• Manage Active Directory objects, DNS zones, DHCP scopes, and Group Policy.
• Perform server builds, upgrades, migrations, hardening, and decommissioning.
• Handle Windows patching via WSUS, SCCM/MECM or equivalent tools.
• Troubleshoot OS, application, authentication, networking, and performance issues.
• Maintain Microsoft Failover Clustering and other high‑availability services.
• Support VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V virtualized Windows workloads.
• Analyze system performance and optimise capacity.
• Implement and maintain Windows security baselines and hardening standards.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and monitor infrastructure with enterprise tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across operating system, application, authentication, networking and performance domains.

• ITSM incident, problem, change and service request management
