Windows Administrator – Server & Hyper‑V Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Windows Administrator to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our Windows server environment. You will work closely with customers and vendors to resolve incidents, maintain infrastructure, and implement improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor all servers using BSE tools and track CPU, memory, and service health.
• Generate monthly availability reports and own incidents from detection to resolution.
• Coordinate with hardware and software vendors, as well as customer support teams, to resolve complex issues.
• Reinstall operating systems, restore components after failures, and manage OS patching and hardening.
• Create, delete, and configure virtual machines and snapshots; report VM performance using native and monitoring tools.
• Manage Hyper‑V 2012/2016 clusters, failover configurations, and access rights.
• Perform IIS basic troubleshooting and maintain server inventory.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Windows server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Hyper‑V, failover clustering, and IIS.
• Strong background in security patching, OS hardening, and OS migration (in‑place and side‑by‑side).
• Proven ability to handle incident and problem management processes.
