Windows Administrator (L2) – Active Directory

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Windows Administrator (Level 2) with deep expertise in Active Directory (AD) to join our on‑site team. You will be responsible for maintaining and hardening our enterprise AD environment, ensuring reliability, security, and smooth operation of related services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including FSMO roles, trusts, Kerberos KDCs, replication topology, and domain controllers.
• Create and manage OUs, security groups, GPOs, and delegation settings.
• Perform daily health checks, monitor domain reliability, and troubleshoot AD replication, DNS, DHCP, authentication, and trust issues.
• Review and act on domain controller and security event logs.
• Execute backup, restore, migration, and promotion activities for domain controllers.
• Implement CIS Benchmark hardening for domain controllers, member servers, and endpoints.
• Administer DNS zones, DHCP scopes, and support read‑only domain controllers (RODC).
• Assist with Certificate Authority server administration and develop PowerShell automation scripts.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Windows and AD administration.
• Full‑time degree in B.E./B.Tech/Diploma, B.Sc IT, BCA or MCA with no education gaps.
• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise Windows infrastructure.
