Wind PMC Team Leader

About the role

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Wind Site Team Leader to provide day‑to‑day PMC oversight of utility‑scale wind package delivery, including Wind Turbine Generators, Balance of Plant, Underground Shared Services and associated infrastructure. The role coordinates multidisciplinary site teams and interfaces with EPC contractors, OEMs and client representatives to ensure safe, timely and quality execution through construction, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate PMC site activities across all wind package workstreams, managing deployment of discipline engineers and construction management resources.
• Monitor EPC contractor and OEM performance against schedules, quality requirements and contractual commitments, supporting achievement of milestones and energisation targets.
• Coordinate interfaces among EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, utilities and client representatives for roads, foundations, turbine erection, electrical works, commissioning and HOTO activities.
• Review contractor schedules, milestone forecasts and recovery plans, maintaining visibility of package risks and validating status reporting for programme governance.
• Monitor quality, safety, environmental and operational readiness, support commissioning planning and ensure corrective actions for significant issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Renewable Energy Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in renewable energy, wind energy or major infrastructure projects, with proven utility‑scale wind project delivery through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Experience within PMC, EPC, Owner's Engineer or large programme delivery environments.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or PMI‑SP.
