Wind Construction Manager – Large‑Scale Renewable Hybrid Project

About the role

Hygenco is looking for an experienced Wind Construction Manager to take overall responsibility for site execution and construction activities of a large‑scale wind power plant within a renewable hybrid project. The role covers civil works, turbine erection, electrical systems, and coordination with transmission and substation packages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring execution follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements and schedules.
• Supervise civil works such as turbine foundations, roads, crane pads, drainage and cable trenches.
• Manage wind turbine component logistics, storage, unloading and erection, including tower, nacelle, hub and blade installation.
• Oversee electrical construction, MV collection systems, cable laying, termination, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate interfaces with transmission line and substation contractors to ensure timely grid interconnection.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, monitor progress and prepare regular reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• 8‑10 years of experience in utility‑scale wind farm construction and turbine erection.
• Proven experience managing EPC contractors, multiple site interfaces and large‑scale renewable projects.
