About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop wheel speed sensor components for automotive applications. The role is based in Bangalore and involves supporting the design team from concept through production.
Key responsibilities
- Provide design support for wheel speed sensor projects.
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using UG/NX.
- Prepare bills of materials in SAP.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis and GD&T assessments.
- Process and manage product data through Teamcenter.
Required profile
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6‑10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Proficient CAD skills with UG/NX and Teamcenter.
- Experience in plastic part and sheet‑metal design, including fixture and mounting‑bracket creation.
- Knowledge of injection molding processes and ability to interpret mold‑flow simulation results.
- Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack‑up and automotive system requirements.
- Basic experience handling data in SAP modules.
