Welder

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Surat. The role involves performing welding operations on fabricated components for bulk material handling and mechanical transmission equipment, ensuring high quality and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, fit, and join metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate arc, TIG, and MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and fabricators to meet project schedules.
• Perform basic maintenance of welding tools and equipment.
• Document work performed and adhere to safety and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Practical experience in industrial welding, preferably in heavy fabrication environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of material properties for stainless steel (SS) and mild steel (MS).
• Understanding of welding safety standards and proper use of PPE.
• Relevant technical certification in welding or fabrication is an advantage.
