Website Designer & Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Website Designer & Developer to own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of corporate, product and campaign sites. The role combines UI/UX design, front‑end development and back‑end configuration across multiple CMS platforms, ensuring performance, security and conversion optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business, product and marketing requirements and translate them into technical specifications and site maps.
• Create wireframes, user journeys, responsive interface designs and page structures.
• Design and develop modern, conversion‑focused websites using WordPress, Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce and similar tools.
• Build sites on Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or other CMS platforms as required.
• Customize themes, templates, navigation, forms and reusable components.
• Write responsive HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and PHP code when needed.
• Configure domains, DNS, hosting accounts, databases, SSL certificates, CDN services and business email.
• Manage staging environments, migrations, backups, deployments and go‑live processes.
• Integrate websites with CRM platforms, APIs, webhooks, chatbots, payment gateways, booking systems and marketing‑automation tools.
• Set up Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console and conversion tracking.
• Implement on‑page SEO, metadata, schema, URL structures, sitemaps and redirects.
• Optimise site speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, image delivery and overall performance.
• Maintain security through updates, backups, malware protection and vulnerability checks.
• Troubleshoot hosting, domain, database, theme, plugin, API and integration issues.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience designing and developing websites.
• Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of WordPress and other CMS projects.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on performance, security and SEO.
