Web Developer – Python & Shell Scripting

About the role

We are looking for a Web Developer to design, build and test web‑based applications for various site components. The role involves editing site content, documenting technical designs and continuously researching updated content to keep our websites current.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test web applications using Python and shell scripting.
• Edit and maintain site content across multiple platforms.
• Document technical designs, specifications and implementation details.
• Research and incorporate new content and features into existing websites.
• Monitor project progress, ensure timely delivery and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead knowledge‑sharing sessions and support team decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• At least 15 years of full‑time education.
• Proven ability to act as a subject‑matter expert and guide a development team.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with multiple teams.

Required skills

• Python (programming language)
• Shell scripting (including Unix shell scripting)
• Web development frameworks and libraries
• Front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Version control systems such as Git
