Web Developer (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a Web Developer to design, build and test web‑based applications that support various components of our website. The role involves editing site content, documenting technical designs and continuously researching new content to keep the site engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and thoroughly test web applications using Python.
• Edit and update website content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
• Document technical designs, specifications and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Research and incorporate the latest content and features into the website.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate web components seamlessly.
• Monitor website performance and implement enhancements for better user experience.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Python development.
• 15 years of full‑time education.
• Ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.
• Active participation in team discussions and problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Strong knowledge of front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Understanding of database management and integration techniques.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
