Web Application Engineer

About the role

As a Web Application Engineer you will guide customers in adopting Google Cloud Platform services, ensuring secure, scalable, and modern web solutions. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to influence cloud product excellence while delivering best‑practice implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑deployed web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and developers to deliver end‑to‑end implementations.
• Translate client requirements into functional, high‑performance web solutions.
• Leverage GCP services for automated provisioning, secure architecture, and modern application patterns.
• Provide prescriptive guidance on migration, modernization, and ongoing maintenance of applications on GCP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Java, Python, JavaScript or similar languages.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional, geographically dispersed teams.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization in web applications.
