Waste Water Expert

About the role

AECOM India is looking for a highly skilled Waste Water Expert to lead the planning, design, review and technical evaluation of water supply and distribution infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and review of water treatment plants, transmission mains, reservoirs and pumping stations.
• Evaluate and recommend water treatment technologies and operational strategies.
• Conduct hydraulic analysis and system modeling for transmission and distribution networks.
• Review engineering calculations, process designs, technical specifications and design reports.
• Ensure compliance with drinking water standards, regulatory requirements and international best practices.
• Provide technical guidance during construction, testing, commissioning and performance assessments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Public Health or Water Resources Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, design and implementation of water supply infrastructure.
• Proven experience with water treatment plants, transmission systems, reservoirs and distribution network design.
• Strong understanding of drinking water treatment processes, water quality standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent technical report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
