Warehouse Operations Executive

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking an experienced Executive to lead daily warehousing activities. You will be responsible for implementing production, productivity, quality and customer‑service standards while ensuring that volume targets are met within set timeframes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving and dispatching procedures for all shipments.
• Assign and monitor daily planned warehouse activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment transaction records.
• Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient receiving, identification, dispatch and quality assurance of goods.
• Measure and report on warehousing effectiveness and employee performance.
• Communicate job expectations, coach staff and determine appropriate staffing levels.
• Coordinate with other departments and interface with customers to resolve issues.
• Ensure clean, safe storage areas and enforce safety procedures for forklift and machinery operation.

Required profile

• Clear knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong management, leadership and organisational capabilities.
• Capacity to remain on the warehouse floor for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory or invoicing software.
