Warehouse Officer – Local Position

About the role

The Warehouse Officer supports the loading and unloading of vehicles, maintains stock control and assists with overall facility operations at our Dampier site. This is a full‑time, locally based role focused on safe and efficient handling of containers, equipment and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate trucks, cranes and other equipment throughout the facility.
• Monitor and document containers moving on and off marine vessels.
• Load and unload offshore containers, freight, drill pipe, casing and specialist equipment.
• Operate yard and warehouse equipment such as hand trolleys, pallet jacks, scales, air compressors, high‑pressure water cleaners, loading ramps and fuel pumps.
• Inspect and maintain containers, slings and lifting gear.
• Maintain accurate stock control, ensuring correct storage and vessel order.
• Perform tally and reconciliation of material against consignment notes, manifests and packing lists.
• Conduct daily pre‑start checks on all plant and equipment and report any faults or incidents.
• Comply with HSE policies, chain‑of‑responsibility requirements and load‑restraint standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years relevant supply‑base experience.
• High‑risk forklift ticket and experience operating a 16 ton forklift.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to a demanding environment.
• Current MSIC clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with construction, oil‑and‑gas drilling logistics and load‑restraint standards.
