Warehouse Assistant – Polangui

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant supports daily operations at the Polangui branch by receiving deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring the stockroom follows safety and organization standards. This position is essential for smooth supply‑chain flow and timely order fulfillment for dealers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify delivered products against invoices.
• Inspect goods for damage, document findings, and file records for easy retrieval.
• Organize products in the stockroom and selling area according to planograms and FIFO principles.
• Implement security measures, manage stockroom keys, and control access.
• Pick and bag dealer orders following packing standards.
• Conduct monthly cycle counts with the Branch Supervisor to reconcile variances.
• Prepare and submit required reports to Supply Chain Management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of any course or Grade 12 graduate; prior analogous experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes and bagging products.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
