About the role
The Ward Boy will ensure cleanliness and hygiene across hospital wards, assist with patient transport, manage waste disposal, and support nursing staff in daily operations while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout hospital wards and assigned areas.
- Assist in transporting patients within the hospital premises as required.
- Dispose of waste correctly following hospital protocols.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Prepare and clean patient beds and rooms.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, sanitizer, and tissues in designated areas.
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff to meet patient needs efficiently.
- Follow hospital safety and infection control procedures diligently.
Required profile
- Minimum education: 10th Pass.
