Waiter/Waitress – Hotel Service

About the role

The Waiter/Waitress will deliver high‑quality food and beverage service to guests at Hyatt Regency Trivandrum. Working in a dynamic hotel environment, you will ensure each guest receives courteous, professional and efficient service throughout their dining experience. The role requires flexibility to work across different dining venues and collaboration with kitchen, bar and front‑desk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and take accurate orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to hotel standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service issues with a focus on satisfaction.
• Process payments and manage billing accurately.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel food‑and‑beverage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
