VM Brakes BSW Developer – Automotive Software

About the role

Join Bosch's automotive software team in Coimbatore to develop and integrate Basic Software (BSW) modules for brake systems. You will work closely with system, hardware and application teams to deliver reliable brake control software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate BSW modules in automotive brake systems following AUTOSAR standards.
• Configure and implement drivers, communication stacks, and related BSW components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of brake control software.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CAN network issues and ensure reliable ECU communication.
• Test, validate, and debug CAN communication for brake systems.
• Document software design, architecture, and test execution.
• Ensure compliance with automotive safety and quality standards such as ISO 26262.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with AUTOSAR BSW development.
• Proficiency in CAN network debugging and analysis.
• Hands‑on use of CANalyzer and CANoe tools.
• Familiarity with automotive debugging environments.
• Knowledge of BSW module configuration and integration.
