Visual Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Visual Designer to join Meesho’s Design team, helping make e‑commerce accessible for tier‑2+ markets in India. You will shape visual communication across our products, create illustrations, iconography, micro‑transitions and animations, and evolve our Design System.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain visual guidelines, standards and design system components.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create illustrations, iconography, micro‑transitions and animations that improve user communication.
• Document and evolve design system documentation to support designers and engineers.
• Ensure UI consistency, high visual craft, and incorporate motion design throughout products.
• Facilitate design planning and critique sessions, and proactively unblock design and engineering issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a UI/Visual Designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, illustration and animation work.
• Attention to detail and creative thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
