Video Editor & Videographer

About the role

Pixel Studios Chennai is hiring a full-time, permanent Video Editor & Videographer with 2+ years of experience. The role covers planning, shooting and editing videos for social media, campaigns and brand communications, delivering high-quality visual output aligned with client goals.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot videos for reels, short-form content, campaigns and brand shoots
• Edit videos with strong storytelling, pacing and visual flow
• Handle camera setup, framing, lighting basics and audio capture
• Create platform-ready videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and ads
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams during shoots and edits
• Maintain consistent video quality and brand tone, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Stay up to date with video trends, formats and editing techniques

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience in video shooting (camera operation, angles, lighting basics)
• Strong understanding of short-form and long-form video formats
• Creative mindset with attention to detail

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or Final Cut Pro
• Color correction, sound syncing and transitions
• Preferred: basic motion graphics or text animations, reels, YouTube Shorts and ad videos, agency or brand-side experience
