Vice President, Settlement & Currency Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking an execution‑focused Vice President, Settlement & Currency Services to lead settlement and FX capability development and implementation across AP & EEMEA. The role will prioritize regional initiatives, support regulatory reporting requirements, and manage responses to regulatory inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial, operational, regulatory, customer and system impacts for settlement/FX initiatives.
• Collaborate with the global team to introduce new settlement and FX enhancements in the AP & EEMEA region.
• Partner with business units to develop and implement enhancements to settlement service offerings.
• Drive initiatives to ensure liquidity availability for settlement in AP & EEMEA.
• Engage with regulators, central banks and other stakeholders to manage audits, inquiries and stay abreast of regulatory changes.
• Oversee preparation and submission of regulatory reports related to settlement activities across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• MBA or a degree in business or finance.
• Proven track record in payment‑systems product/project management and leading high‑impact transformation initiatives.
• Advanced expertise in treasury settlements, payment operations and banking infrastructure gained in multinational corporates or financial institutions.

Required skills

• Payment network systems (authorization, clearing, settlement).
• Host‑to‑host connectivity solutions.
• SWIFT messaging expertise.
• Oracle for invoice processing and vendor management.
