Vice President of Finance

About the role

The Luxury Closet is seeking a Vice President of Finance to own and scale the entire finance function across the UAE, India, and Saudi Arabia. This senior leader will build financial infrastructure, guide strategic decisions, and act as a trusted partner to the CEO and board as the company expands into new markets and deepens its AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for all operating jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain growth scenario models to inform capital allocation and market‑entry decisions.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and capital‑efficiency initiatives.
• Partner with the CEO on fundraising strategy, investor communications, and board reporting.
• Manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate books, statutory audits, and tax filings in each country.
• Own AML/KYC compliance for UAE operations and ensure adherence to corporate tax, GST, and VAT regulations.
• Oversee transfer pricing, inter‑company transactions, and corporate governance across jurisdictions.
• Prepare board materials, financial decks, and manage due‑diligence processes during fundraising rounds.

Required profile

• Independent thinker with a proven track record of building finance functions in multi‑jurisdictional environments.
• Strong analytical mindset capable of modeling new market entries and pressure‑testing unit economics.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial narratives to investors, board members, and cross‑functional teams.
• Leadership experience managing accounting teams and driving compliance initiatives.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in the UAE, India, and Saudi Arabia.
