Vice President, Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Vice President to join BNY’s Internal Audit – Core Technology Process Audit team in India. The role will focus on technology‑focused audits, including system development lifecycle and change management reviews, supporting our global financial services business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex technology audit assignments, covering SDLC and Change Management.
• Plan, execute fieldwork and report on technology audit engagements.
• Identify issues, collaborate with management to define remedial actions.
• Lead projects and stakeholder meetings, preparing draft audit reports.
• Follow‑up audit actions, testing implementation where required.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to continuous monitoring.
• Assist in developing the annual audit plan and stay current on industry best practices and regulations.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks, represent Internal Audit on projects and management committees.

Required profile

• Strong experience in technology audits, preferably within financial services or banking.
• Background in SDLC, Change Management and IT Service Management.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, NIST and FFIEC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of leading risk‑based projects and influencing stakeholders.
• Good understanding of audit methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
• Strong planning, coordination, organization and presentation abilities.
