Vehicle Application Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Application Engineer to join Bosch’s Mobility Solutions and Cross Domain Computation divisions in Bangalore. You will work on the application and integration of steering, driver‑assist and manoeuvring systems for customer projects, contributing to the development of safer and more autonomous vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and integrate steering and driver‑assist systems into vehicles for customer projects.
• Conduct requirements analysis, define test plans and execute system release tests on benches, in labs and on real vehicles.
• Set application parameters and support validation activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, development partners (hardware, software, CAD) and project managers.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation in accordance with Bosch quality standards.
• Participate in technical discussions and negotiations with customers.
• Support continuous improvement of application processes.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree.
• Valid 2‑wheel and 4‑wheel driving licence; commercial vehicle licence is a plus.
• Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Structured, independent working style with flexibility to handle tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel.
• Fluent in English; Hindi, Marathi, Kannada or Tamil are advantageous.
