Utility Technician – Refrigeration Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Utility Technician to operate and maintain the refrigeration systems at our Non‑Dairy Cream Plant in Rajpura. The role involves working on both manual and PLC‑controlled ammonia and Freon chillers across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems with KCX4, KCX3, KC3 reciprocating compressors, including condensers, receivers and air handling units.
• Maintain ammonia‑based chilling plants equipped with KC42 reciprocating compressors and RXF screw compressors.
• Service microprocessor‑controlled Freon chilling plants using SMC106L, 5H80, 5H40 compressors and compact chillers ranging from 10 TR to 80 TR.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of all refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of manual or microprocessor‑based refrigeration plants.
• ITI qualification in Refrigeration & Air‑Conditioning or a Mechanical Engineering background.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions, collaborate effectively and adapt to changing conditions.
