Used & Rental Sales Manager – Mumbai

About the role

The role focuses on driving the rental and used‑machine sales business for a leading construction equipment manufacturer in Mumbai. You will identify market gaps, build strong customer relationships and ensure continuous growth and profitability of the rental and used‑equipment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new customers and generate leads for rental and used‑machine sales.
• Manage customer relationships, negotiate and close deals.
• Maintain key accounts and conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis.
• Oversee revenue, margin, and sales pipeline management.
• Handle rental contract administration, fleet utilization, and equipment availability.
• Plan short‑term and long‑term rentals, optimize fleet deployment and assess risk.
• Analyze rental profitability, ensure collection and payment compliance.

Required profile

• B.Com, MBA or B.Tech graduate.
• 30‑35 years old with a minimum of 10 years experience in machinery sales or rental.
• Business‑oriented mindset with strong negotiation and market‑intelligence skills.
• Ability to select appropriate machines for buy‑back, justify rental vs. purchase decisions, and manage customer connections.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
