US Audit Executive – Financial Audits

About the role

We are seeking a US Audit Executive to lead and execute comprehensive audit engagements across our portfolio. The role involves assessing risk, performing detailed audit procedures, and delivering actionable insights to strengthen financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑audit planning, risk assessments, vouching, and verification activities.
• Prepare thorough audit reports with clear recommendations.
• Assist in developing annual audit plans and strategic audit approaches.
• Evaluate financial records, systems, and internal controls for accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Draft and maintain audit work papers in accordance with professional standards.
• Perform accounting tasks as needed, including posting, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and audit methodology.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit software (e.g., Caseware IDEA, AuditBoard).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
