Unix Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Unix Administrator to lead the management of our IT assets and ensure compliance across a medium‑to‑large organization. The role will focus on maintaining Unix infrastructure, supporting web applications, and driving integration of business and infrastructure services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and performance of Unix servers and related infrastructure.
• Manage IT asset lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Integrate business applications with infrastructure services, supporting web‑based solutions.
• Implement and optimise process automation and workflow within asset management systems.
• Apply ITIL or similar service‑management frameworks to improve service delivery.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of hands‑on experience in Unix administration and IT asset management.
• Proven track record of maintaining compliance in medium‑to‑large organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certification in IT Asset Management (e.g., CITAM) or compliance is a plus.
