UAT Tester – User Acceptance Testing

About the role

We are looking for a QA professional with strong User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and domain expertise to support business‑critical projects in the banking, financial services and insurance sectors. The role involves understanding business requirements, validating end‑to‑end processes, collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring solutions meet business expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute UAT test cases, and track defects throughout the testing cycle.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Collaborate closely with business users, product owners and project stakeholders to clarify expectations.
• Validate end‑to‑end business processes and user workflows against functional specifications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, provide status updates and support defect resolution activities.
• Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices and ensure readiness for UAT sign‑off.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of UAT execution and business validation experience (mid‑level).
• 4‑7 years of ability to independently drive UAT activities and manage stakeholder interactions (senior).
• 7‑10 years of experience leading UAT engagements, managing stakeholders and delivering sign‑offs (expert).

Required skills

• Strong experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Good understanding of banking, financial services or insurance domain processes.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
