Treasury Supervisor – Chennai

About the role

The Treasury Supervisor will support the Group Treasury leadership in managing daily cash operations, liquidity, and reporting for Inchcape Shipping Services in Chennai. This senior position ensures timely execution of treasury processes, compliance with policies, and effective collaboration with internal and banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global treasury activities including daily cash balances, cash pooling, and sweeping.
• Oversee cash and liquidity management through cash‑flow planning, forecasting and weekly reporting.
• Prepare and present treasury reports (working capital, liquidity analysis, forex gains/losses, etc.) to senior management.
• Maintain banking relationships, open/close accounts, and resolve inquiries.
• Lead the Treasury Back‑office team, approve payments and disbursements, and administer bank portal access.
• Support Kyriba TMS implementation, testing, upgrades and generate related reports.
• Drive treasury‑specific projects, including global netting and process improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of treasury experience covering payments, cash management, FX and account management.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities and work in a pressurised environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
