Treasury & Capital Markets Specialist

About the role

Paytm is seeking an experienced Treasury professional to join its Corporate Treasury & Capital Markets team. The role will manage funding, liquidity, banking relationships, debt capital markets, treasury operations, investments and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, execute and manage commercial papers, NCDs and term loans, coordinating with rating agencies, merchant bankers and institutional investors.
• Manage daily cash positioning, optimise surplus funds across money‑market instruments, mutual funds and fixed‑income investments.
• Maintain strategic banking relationships, negotiate facilities and oversee banking platforms, access controls and payment gateways.
• Ensure accurate treasury accounting through SAP FICO/TRM, handling interest accruals, loan repayments and borrowing costs.
• Monitor compliance with RBI, FEMA, KYC guidelines and manage regulatory filings, including ROC/CERSAI registrations.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in corporate treasury, capital markets or banking with a CA/MBA Finance/CFA qualification.
• Hands‑on experience in debt capital markets, including CPs, NCDs, term loans and fundraising initiatives.
• Strong understanding of liquidity management, banking operations and regulatory compliance (RBI, FEMA, KYC).
