Treasury Analyst – Global Payments (India)

About the role

In the Treasury team we build and manage the financial infrastructure that enables global businesses to operate seamlessly across emerging markets. As a Treasury Analyst based in India you will ensure efficiency, control and scalability of treasury operations across Southeast Asia, South Asia and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end treasury operational lifecycle, including settlement processes and remittance execution with local partners.
• Manage FX documentation submission and support cross‑border payment flows with banking partners.
• Act as the primary operational liaison with local banks and partners to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of settlements and financial transactions.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve operational issues while adhering to SLAs.
• Partner with regional leadership to support launch and operationalisation of new markets in Southeast and South Asia.
• Provide operational support to treasury activities in Singapore and act as backup for African operations.
• Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities and operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Treasury, Payments or Financial Operations.
• Strong understanding of cross‑border payments, remittance flows and emerging market dynamics.
• Experience with liquidity and cash management in multi‑currency environments.
• Knowledge of FX operations, currency exposure and conversion mechanisms.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills with ability to handle large data sets.
• Advanced English communication skills for interaction with global stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms or SQL.
