Travel Trainer/Instructor

About the role

Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training is seeking a Travel Trainer/Instructor to deliver comprehensive training programmes for aspiring travel professionals. The role involves teaching core travel industry concepts, ticketing processes, and operational procedures to students preparing for careers in travel agencies, airlines, and related sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and practical sessions on travel agency operations and airline ticketing.
• Teach the use of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Galileo, Amadeus, and Sabre.
• Explain airport ground handling procedures, basic travel terminology, and travel geography.
• Provide instruction on foreign currency exchange processes and cargo handling.
• Introduce learners to key organisations and regulatory bodies in the travel industry.
• Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure competency.

Required profile

• Experience in a reputable travel agency or airline ticketing office.
• Knowledge of at least one GDS (Galileo, Amadeus, or Sabre).
• Familiarity with airport ground handling procedures, travel terminology, and travel geography.
• Understanding of foreign currency exchange procedures.
• Experience with cargo handling.
• Awareness of various organisations related to the travel industry.
• Relevant travel training experience.
